Firstly, the origin of the blog name 2GEONOMADS. My wife Gail and I live along the shores of Geographe Bay 250 kms south of Perth, WA and we have become frequent travellers, especially in recent years.
Why the author name, The Obese Ferret? Having been something of a lightweight for many years I happened to email my UK nephew, Andy, with the news that my weight had risen to 70 kgs and he decided that Obese Ferret was perfect to describe my ‘ballooning’ weight.
The blog is only kept for our travels, both overseas and within Australia, and as much as anything else is designed to help us remember our experiences on our usually rather crowded itineraries.
